Welcome to Martock

Martock is a large village of nearly 5000 people, situated not quite 1 mile from the A303 and on the edge of the beautiful Somerset Levels. It is part of South Somerset District and is only 7 miles (11.3 km) north west of Yeovil. 

The village was an old market town and the properties near the church demonstrate the area's weatlhy past. The church dates back to the 13th century and is said to be the second largest in Somerset. 

Amenities include independent shops, a Co-op, primary school and a large recreation ground.
