THE GENERAL ELECTION!

Well with only a couple of days to go until the results of this years general election becomes clear, I am not about to give you any wild predictions nor get into a political debate.

Suffice to say I am not expecting any major effects on the housing market in the near future. people will still need a home to live in, babies will still be born, schooling will still be important.  Sadly the thee D's, of Death, Debt and Divorce will continue.

All in all, if you are considering a move because you require a home to live in and treat the purchase as just that, things will be fine. If you are looking for an investment property things are slightly different, however property has continued to outperform all other investments for decades now and I see no reason that this should not continue over the longer term.

All in all, the best thing to is to ask us about your current situation and we will happily give you the best advice for your own circumstances, regardless of where you might be purchasing or which agent it might be through.

Finally, my last piece of advice, make sure you speak to us regularly and return calls. We are here to help but if we call you several times and you do not return our calls. it is very unlikely we will be calling you when the house of your dreams comes to the market!  Every week we get a call from someone who says "Why didn't you let me know about "x" property? Why is it already sold?  Well, its usually quite simple. The person who lost out, didn't reply to our communications. The person who got the house did.
What ever happens, landslide , margin win, huge swings or coalitions, we shall still be here next week and look forward to helping you move.

Thanks for reading and if you have any property related questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us – we’d love to help you.
