The Brewers Arms and Old Bakehouse Restaurant are found at the centre of the bustling Hamstone village of South Petherton, just half a mile from the A303. Dating from the 17th century, this old coaching inn has much to offer with its lively village bar, relaxed dining rooms and three en-suite bedrooms. The Brewers Arms has been awarded ‘Taste of the West’ silver and gold awards, Western Gazette Pub of the Year in 2013 and was Somerset CAMRA Pub of the Year for the third time in 2016.
OLD BAKEHOUSE RESTAURANT
As its name suggests the Old Bakehouse Restaurant was once a village bakery and evidence of this can be seen in our large exposed bread oven dating back over 300 years. This divides the restaurant into two rooms with the larger having 40 covers and the Garden Room seating 16, making it ideal for those special occasions.

11.30am – 2.00pm & 6.00 – 9.00pm Tuesday to Saturday
11.30am – 2.00pm & 6.00 – 8.00pm Mondays
12.00 – 8.00pm Sundays
